Attendance
Student attendance will be taken daily through online participation in live lessons and meetings.
Grading
Student feedback is given in a variety of ways. Feedback may be verbal, a written message, check, checklist, rubric, or number score. Some student work is sent home on Friday, while other work may be kept until conferences. Content units receive evaluation on participation, performance, and project(s).
Report Cards are sent home three times throughout the year: November, March, and May.
The district grading system is below:
4-Advanced Achievement (independently and consistently)
3-Proficient Achievement (more concepts achieved with some support or practice)
2-Partially Proficient (assistance needed from teacher to achieve concepts)
1-Does not meet the standard (with extra support child is greatly challenged)
There will be fall and winter parent-teacher conferences.

Target system
"On Target" - represented by a circle with an X in the middle. This feedback means that the student has met the expectation and the learning objective.
"Almost on Target" - represented by a circle with an X on the border of the circle line. This feedback means that the student has not met the learning objective, but they understand the key idea and they just need more time to practice without additional teaching.
"Off Target" - represented by a circle with an X outside of the circle line. This feedback means that the student has not met the learning objective, needs more teaching and time to practice, in order to meet the learning objective.
